Crastin (PBT)

Crastin® is the leading brand name of PBT chemistry from Celanese, known as Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). Crastin PBT is an engineering thermoplastic polyester used in automotive, medical, consumer, electrical and electronics industries. This semi-crystalline polyester has a very high dimensional stability and is quite hard and rigid in nature. Crastin PBT offers manufacturers the advantage of superior flow qualities. It’s easy to process on conventional injection moulding machines. It is available in a wide range of grades designed for low-warpage, hydrolysis resistance, and for blow-moulding and extrusion.
