TBM LIMEX – Innovative Sustainable Materials

Vani proudly serves as the official distributor of TMB Limex in India, bringing a sustainable and innovative material solution to the Indian market. Limex, developed by TBM in Japan, is a revolutionary material that has gained recognition for its eco-friendly properties and versatile applications.

Limex is made primarily from calcium carbonate, commonly known as limestone, a naturally abundant mineral. This virgin sustainable material offers a valuable alternative to conventional plastics, making it a significant player in reducing environmental impact. Limex can be used independently as a plastic substitute, ideal for various industries seeking greener solutions.

Additionally, Limex can be mixed with polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) to further reduce carbon emissions without compromising material strength or usability. With Vani’s distribution partnership, businesses across India now have access to this advanced material, opening up new avenues for sustainable manufacturing and responsible product development.

The Limex Advantage

Global plastic & paper consumption is expected to explode with population growth and consumption patterns – commodity plastics play a large role here.

Commodity Plastics are made from petroleum products ,  there is substantial pollution and toxic emissions from production and disposal of the same. Most petroleum based plastics are not bio degradable , instead they degrade so slowly that they stay in environment, landfills, beaches and oceans for decades up to 100 of years.

Limex is an innovative new material mainly made from limestone. Primary raw material – Calcium carbonate and the secondary raw material – Thermoplastic, will evolve into a carbon – negative material that contribute to the reduction of Greenhouse gas emission. In many cases, Limex could also be a cost effective yet sustainable alternative to using commodity plastics as base raw material. While Limex is not completely bio degradable, it is an inorganic in nature and may not cause any pollution/damage to the environment.
Limex is also a heavier material and adds to the strength and build of the end product
